Frequently asked questions

Is the Atosa AUR36GD a refrigerator or a freezer, and what temperature does it hold?

The AUR36GD is a refrigerator. Its electronic controller holds 35°F to 38°F. The glass door freezer in the same 36" size is a separate model, the Atosa AUF36GD.

What outlet does the AUR36GD need?

It needs a standard 115V, 60 Hz, single-phase outlet that accepts a NEMA 5-15P plug. The unit draws 2.3 A.

Will it fit under my counter and through a doorway?

The AUR36GD is 32-1/2" high on its 2" casters, so it fits under a standard 36" high counter with room to spare. It is 30" deep, so it passes through a 36" doorway. Its 32-1/2" height is also far below an 80" door opening. Leave clearance behind the unit, because the condensing unit is mounted at the rear.

How much does the AUR36GD hold?

It holds 8.6 cu. ft. across two sections. Each section comes with one epoxy-coated shelf, for a total of two.

What certifications does the AUR36GD have?

It is cETLus listed and ETL Sanitation certified. cETLus means the unit meets electrical safety standards for the United States and Canada. ETL Sanitation means it meets food equipment sanitation standards, which health inspectors look for in commercial kitchens.

What warranty comes with the AUR36GD?

Atosa covers the AUR36GD for 3 years on parts and labor and 5 years on the compressor. Extended warranty options are also available from Atosa.

How does the AUR36GD differ from the AUR36SD, AUR27GD and AUR48GD?

The AUR36SD has the same 36-3/8" width and 8.6 cu. ft. capacity, but it has solid stainless doors instead of glass. The AUR27GD is a one-door glass model, 27-1/2" wide, with 6.4 cu. ft. of storage. The AUR48GD is a two-door glass model, 48-1/4" wide, with 11.8 cu. ft. of storage. All three are 30" deep and 32-1/2" high.

Does it ship free, and how is it delivered?

Yes, this model ships free. It ships on a pallet by freight truck. A lift gate fee applies to large items like this one if you don't have a loading dock and is calculated at checkout.
