What gas connection does the Atosa ACHP-6 need?

It connects through a 3/4" NPT fitting at the rear, and a gas pressure regulator is included as standard. The regulator is factory set at 4" W.C. for natural gas or 10" W.C. for LP. Size the supply line for a total load of 192,000 BTU/hr, and have a qualified gas installer make the connection.

Does it need electricity?

No. The ACHP-6 uses manual gas valves and standing pilots, so it does not need an electrical outlet.

Can it run on propane?

Yes. The ACHP-6 is offered for natural gas or LP. Both versions are rated at 32,000 BTU per burner. Natural gas units use NG37 orifices at 4" W.C., and LP units use LPG51 orifices at 10" W.C. Order the version that matches your gas supply.
