The Southbend S36D-2GL is a 36" commercial gas restaurant range from the S-Series line, combining two open burners and a 24" manual griddle over a standard oven base — a configuration suited for high-volume lines that need simultaneous burner and flat-top cooking without stepping up to a 48" or 60" unit.

• 36" commercial gas range with two 28,000 BTU open burners on the right, a 48,000 BTU 24" manual griddle on the left, and a 35,000 BTU standard oven base with snap-action thermostat — 139,000 BTU total output.
• Burners are painted, one-piece cast iron non-clog design with a lifetime warranty; individual, removable cast iron grate tops are included, with rear grates capable of holding up to a 14" stock pot.
• The griddle plate is 1/2" thick polished steel, which supports even heat distribution across the cooking surface.
• Operates on natural gas at 139,000 BTU total with a 3/4" male rear gas connection.

Adjustable 6" stainless steel legs are included.

• The range includes a hinged valve panel for access to gas shutoff valves, a factory-installed gas pressure regulator, and a flame failure safety device that stops gas flow if a pilot light goes out.

Removable one-piece crumb drawers under the burners simplify daily cleaning.
