Frequently asked questions
What gas connection does the Atosa ATCB-36 need?
It connects through a 3/4" NPT rear gas inlet. The regulator is included. As shipped it runs on natural gas at 4" W.C. A qualified gas installer should make the connection.
Can the ATCB-36 run on propane?
Yes. It ships set up for natural gas and comes with an LP conversion kit. On LP it uses #50 orifices and runs at 10" W.C. Have a qualified technician do the conversion.
How much grilling space does it have?
The cooking area is 35.7" wide by 20.2" deep, which is about 721 sq. in. It is split into three 12" zones, each with its own burner control, so you can run different heat levels side by side.
Will it fit through a standard doorway?
Yes. The unit is 27-3/5" deep and 15-1/5" high, so it fits through a standard 36" doorway turned sideways. It weighs 191 lb uncrated, so plan for two people to lift it.
What certifications does it have?
It is cETLus listed and ETL-Sanitation certified. cETLus means Intertek has tested it to the gas safety standards used in the US and Canada. ETL-Sanitation means it meets food equipment sanitation requirements. Health inspectors and code officials look for both.
What warranty comes with the ATCB-36?
Atosa gives a one-year parts and labor warranty, counted from the date the unit ships from Atosa. It covers defects in materials and workmanship, including gas components such as the cast iron grates, stainless steel radiants and briquettes. Labor covers standard straight-time rates and reasonable travel time. The warranty does not cover alteration, neglect, abuse, misuse, accident, damage during transit or installation, fire, flood or acts of God. File claims directly with Atosa and include the model number, serial number and proof of purchase.
How does the ATCB-36 differ from other Atosa charbroilers?
The ATCB-24 is the 24" version with two burners and 70,000 BTU. The ATCB-48 is the 48" version with four burners and 140,000 BTU. The ATRC-36 is the same width and BTU rating but is a radiant charbroiler that does not use lava briquettes.
Does it ship free, and how is it delivered?
Yes, this model ships free. It ships on a pallet by freight truck. A lift gate fee applies to large items like this one if you don't have a loading dock and is calculated at checkout.
