Frequently asked questions
What gas connection does the Atosa ATRC-24 need?
It connects through a 3/4" NPT gas inlet at the rear, and a pressure regulator comes with it. The regulator is factory set to 4" W.C. for natural gas or 10" W.C. for LP. Installation must follow local code, or where there is none, the National Fuel Gas Code ANSI Z223.1/NFPA 54 or CSA-B149.1/B149.2 as applicable.
Does the ATRC-24 run on natural gas or propane?
It runs on either. Both versions have the same 70,000 BTU total output, with #36 orifices for natural gas and #50 orifices for LP. Specify your gas type when ordering.
How much cooking space does it have?
The cooking area is 23-9/10" wide by 20-1/5" deep, split into two zones of about 12" each, and each zone has its own burner and control.
What clearances and counter does it need?
It must sit on a noncombustible countertop with at least 6" (152 mm) of clearance at both sides and the back. The footprint is 24" wide by 27-3/5" deep, and the adjustable stainless steel legs let you level it.
What certifications does the ATRC-24 have?
It is cETLus listed and ETL-Sanitation listed. cETLus means it was tested to US and Canadian gas appliance safety standards, and ETL-Sanitation means it meets food equipment sanitation standards that health inspectors look for in commercial kitchens.
What warranty comes with the ATRC-24?
Atosa's CookRite warranty covers parts and labor for one year from the date the unit ships from Atosa, including gas components such as the cast iron grates and stainless steel radiants. Labor coverage is limited to standard straight-time labor and reasonable travel time. The warranty does not cover alteration, neglect, abuse, misuse, accidents, damage during transit or installation, fire, flood or acts of God, and it does not cover food or product spoilage. It applies only to the original purchaser and cannot be transferred. Claims go directly to Atosa with the model number, serial number, proof of purchase and installation date.
How does the ATRC-24 compare with the ATRC-36 and ATRC-48?
All three use the same 35,000 BTU burners, 27-3/5" depth and 15-1/5" height. The ATRC-24 is 24" wide with 2 burners and 70,000 BTU. The ATRC-36 is 36" wide with 3 burners and 105,000 BTU. The ATRC-48 is 48" wide with 4 burners and 140,000 BTU.
