The Atosa FPOF-50 is a mobile fryer oil filter for restaurants and quick-service kitchens. It drains, filters and returns the oil from fryers that hold up to 50 lb. It measures 16-1/4" wide, 29-1/2" deep and 24" high, and its low profile lets it roll under the fryer drain. A reversible 1/3 HP pump moves 3.43 gallons per minute on a 115V, 6 A single-phase supply, and the oil goes back to the fryer through a 5' high-temperature hose and wand. It runs on a standard 115V, 60 Hz, single-phase grounded outlet and draws 6 A. The cord has a three-prong grounding plug. Never cut off or remove the ground prong.

What size fryer is the FPOF-50 for?

It is built for fryers that hold up to 50 lb of oil. For 80 lb fryers, use the Atosa FPOF-80.

Will it fit under my fryer drain and through a doorway?

It is a low-profile unit, 24" high, made to sit under the fryer drain. Check the clearance under your own fryer's drain valve before ordering. At 16-1/4" wide it passes easily through a standard 36" doorway.

What filter paper does it use?

It uses Atosa FP-1324-5 filter paper, 13-1/2" x 24", sold in boxes of 100 sheets. Atosa calls for 12 oz of filter aid on top of the paper each time you filter.

How hot should the oil be when filtering?

Atosa recommends filtering when the oil is about 250°F (121°C). Let the filter assembly cool to room temperature before you handle its parts.
