I'd looked for the perfect timer/clock/stop watch for a very long time, and this is nearly it. The read out is clear (even when your eyes are not what they used to be); it's self explanatory (no motherboard, no owners' manual necessary), and of course--it works. There are only two possible complaint about them (I buy them several at a time). First, the price is a bit steep. Second, the price wouldn't be so steep if they didn't break so easily. The magnets on the back come unglued very quickly, and if one falls, even from the door on a microwave to the counter, it could be enough for it to stop working. The screen flickers briefly in a pathetic death throe and then it's all over. Make them more sturdy and it gets five fat stars. I can always glue the magnet back on (shouldn't have to, but what the heck), but when it falls over and goes belly up, there's nothing I can do but get out a new one and toss the dead one. Still, they're the best around for what they do and I keep buying them.
