Frequently asked questions

What outlet does the Atosa SBB48GRAUS2 need?

It plugs into a standard 115V, 15 A grounded outlet (NEMA 5-15R) using its NEMA 5-15P cord. The unit is 115 V / 60 Hz / single phase and draws 2.3 A, so it needs no hardwiring or special circuit.

Is this a refrigerator or a freezer, and what temperature does it hold?

It is a refrigerator. The electronic controller holds 35°F to 38°F, the right range for bottled and canned beer, soda, wine and drink mixers.

Will it fit through a standard doorway?

Yes. At 24-1/2" deep it goes through a 36" doorway depth-first, and at 40-1/8" high it clears an 80" door opening with plenty of room.

How much does it hold?

It holds 11.5 cu. ft. across two sections and comes with four epoxy-coated shelves already installed.

What certifications does it have?

It is cETLus listed for electrical safety in the US and Canada and ETL-Sanitation listed, which means it meets the applicable NSF sanitation standard. Health inspectors look for that listing in commercial kitchens and bars.

What warranty comes with it?

Atosa covers the cabinet and all parts for 3 years parts and labor, and the sealed compressor for 2 more years, for 5 years total from original installation. The extra compressor coverage applies only to the sealed compressor parts. It excludes the cabinet, paint finish, temperature control, refrigerant, metering device, motor starting equipment, fan assembly and other electrical components. Claims go through Atosa and need the model number, serial number, proof of purchase and installation date.

Are extra shelves available?

Yes. Atosa sells extra shelves, each with 4 shelf clips: part W040237801 for the top left shelf and part W040237701 for the top right and bottom shelves.

How does it differ from other Atosa 48" back bar coolers?

The SBB48GRAUS1 is the same 48" shallow depth cooler with a stainless steel exterior instead of black. The SBB48GGRAUS2 has hinged glass doors, and the SBB48SGGRAUS2 has sliding glass doors. Both keep the black exterior and 11.5 cu. ft. capacity. If you need more space, the SBB59GGRAUS2 is 57-3/4" wide with 15 cu. ft. and glass doors.

Does it ship free, and how is it delivered?

Yes, this model ships free. It ships on a pallet by freight truck. A lift gate fee applies to large items like this one if you don't have a loading dock and is calculated at checkout.
